RE: Untitled

No, i don't. What are we doing at the moment? To be honest, i'm not too sure. Something productive will emerge soon though. I don't think we have any gigs planned anytime soon which is pretty upsetting, i really am dying to record again.

last mock exam tomorrow in Business and Communication Systems, my my that's a beautiful subject.

The Agincourt

Well we just played the Agincourt in Camberley and to be honest it was quite dissapointing.
There was around 10 people watching and we went on first instead of the original third.
But we saw it as a good band practice because the sound was good and we could relatively hear ourselves. Cheers to Marky G for taking us there and back and sticking around. And the Mc Donald's.

I am told that the Agincourt was a important venue around the 60's and 70's putting on bands like The Who and Black Sabbath, but these days it's just a crumbling representation of its glorious past trying to reclaim its former status. Also the place was crawling with metal kids. Well the outside was.

We are going to be in the process of hopefully going up to Worcester to record for 4 days in and around February time. We will have to stay in youth hostels and stuff but it should be good.
Get some tracks down for people to entertain their ears with.

As Jordan said: The gig was good the other night, cheers to everyone that came down especially including my family, jordans dad, georges mum, mossy, mark, erskine, charlesworth, jamie, tommy, rosie, ben, luke, danny, zach, phil, helena and the moho!

I don't actually know if anyone reads these blogs but I'm going to keep writing new ones until someone takes interest.

So, the George on thursday

Personally i thought it went excellent. Very pleased, plus we got some cool pictures which make us look a bit more professional than previously! n ting.

We will next be gracing the Agincourt in Camberley next Friday, you should all come down, its a Friday, no excuses. Also, we should be recording soon, we are just working out what's going to be going down.

We hope your presence is felt near us at some point soon.

The George

Next thursday we will be playing at the George in Andover
Should be a sweet gig and the sound will be much better than Chineham, I assure you people...even though that was a fucking good night.
I hope we'll see alot of you down there to watch us and bring your friends.
I don't know much about the other bands playing but I hear that the Moho are pretty good and The Reason also have some rep. from around.
See you there!

ps the picture was from http://wikipedia.org/wiki/God But I believe they have removed it now.
Maybe they found a more suitable picture of a racist, facist, homophobic, all powerful being to fill it's place. If only.

Saturday...

Was Amazing!
Thank you everyone for coming, it was an absolute cracker.
Special thanks to Canterbury, Turn to Askia and LLLL.
We made enough money for a few solid days recording, and everyone seemed to have a good time.
It had a good atmosphere most of the night, but the scrappy joes were just abysmal.
We be hosting more gigs in the small hall from now on, one in the not too distant future I hope.
This will be our last post until December, because 5 or 6 posts in one month is quite a lot.
Thanks for reading.
Come to our shows please.

Describe the main strengths of the Cosmological Argument for the existence of God, concentrating on Aquinas' first Three Ways.

I hate essays so much.

Sitting in my room trying to do that question above. k00.

At least I have the nostalgia of Meteora to keep me going.

Powaqqatsi

Just watched first episode of the new Mighty Boosh series (As im sure alot of you did)
The actual base comedy in it was funny and still very Barrett and Fielding (Which I suppose is the important thing) but there was way too much background music and everything in it seemed to have this gloss sheen over it. Series 1 and 2 were made brilliant by the sheer pathetic attempts at costumes and sets. Money changes everything i suppose.

Chineham this Saturday! Should be brilliant, especially in the small room. Should actually feel like a real gig in there! I'm sure we'll see alot of you down there, especially at the amount its been whored on MySpace and the fact that everyones favorite Canterbury are playing!
Also remember to give Jordan a big Happpppppppy Birthday as thats the whole reason this gigs on the 17th!

Now I'm rambling and getting past the stage where I want to sound intelligent so I'll stop writing.

Minuo Amplus

what does this mean i hear you shriek? What is this related to? Why is it being said? Well...unless you are a very linguistic person, keep on stroking your tiny moustaches because we certainly aren't gonna tell you. If you are a linguistic person, well done.

Also...agincourt...im ashamed at your pathetic attempts of putting on gigs.

Just thought I would leave another...

I seem to be the only member posting on here haha.
Remember those gigs coming up, 2 next weekend and then others later on in the year.
Band practice today because yesterday some other band took the slot at fort hill, we should be polishing off our set to show you lovely people live.
We are also preparing to record a few new songs either at the end of this year or early next year, they should be cool.
This is the last post this month, we will do another after the gigs next week, because we don't want it to get too crowded here.
Oh by the way, if you actually read this ting, let me or someone in Bright White Light know and we will parade you with love.

Thanks

Band Practise Today - Kiyuwl

We have band practise today at Fort Hill School, we normally have it at my house, but we think it might be more productive and free to have it elsewhere. If anyone knows what its like to take a drum kit, a p.a, 2 hench amps and other stuff down 3 flights of stairs, you will sympathise with me.
Our practise is mainly to polish off the set we are playing at the next few upcoming gigs we have planned, which for our standards is quite alot!

Although, Two of our gigs have been postponed, these are :
  1. BOTB South East, which has been postoned to the 2nd of November
  2. And the other is a private party and there is not much point telling you this as if you were going, you would know!
On top of this, Jack can't make band practise so it will just be jordan with alot of delay or something doing all the guitar parts haha.

Well, thankyou for reading todays blog, it isn't very important, but this is quite a big change for us as we have never had a practise not in my room! Hopefully someday we can get a proper practise room where we won't get noise complaints, and we can leave our gear there forever.

Cheers people.

Hello Readers

We thought making a blog would be a good idea, because we get alot of quetsions asking us what we are up to. well done if you find it and thankyou if you read it.

We are currently sitting on some sweet new material, some of which we have finished and are ready to play at a show near you! Some not so finished, but we look forward to you hearing the stuff that is finished, because we sure love playing it! We have 3 new songs for you lot to hear, so we hope you are excited. One of these is an old classic of ours rejuvenated into a beauty of a song, thanks to JJ to the Masterflex.

The Gigs coming up are, in order:
  1. Maybe, a gig at the Joiners this Monday coming which we are proper psyched about. This would be our comeback gig of this year and we would love it if a few of you could come down with us (if it's on).
  2. 26th Oct, South East Battle Of The Bands, The Agincourt, which we are just as excited about because we could be in for a chance for a large cash prize which would go down veryyyyyy nicely.
  3. 2nd Nov, A private Party which the details of which are not to be disclosed on the internet.
  4. 17TH OF NOVEMBER, CHINEHAM CHRISTCHURCH, CANTERBURY, US AND FRIENDS. PLEASE COME AS THE PROCEEDS ALL GO TO RECORDING AND MAKING US SOUND BETTER!
  5. 29th Nov, The George Venue, Andover.
Sorry about the fact these gigs are so brief, but we have no idea who we are playing with on these dates apart from our own gig on the 17th of november (COME).

Cheers for reading, and I hope you are as excited as we are for what seems to be a promising start to our Autumn.
